The seven continents, from left to right are:
- North America, rendered by the texture of horizontal and parallel lines, at its top right being the northernmost and largest island on the globe, respectively Greenland, an autonomous territory, which is part of the Danish Realm.
- Below North America is South America, highlighted by dotted texture.
- to the right of Greenland follows the European continent, marked by a texture of bold squares.
- Europe continues to the right with Asia, the largest continent, rendered by the texture of short lines; in the lower right corner of Asia is the Japanese archipelago, followed below by the Indonesian and Philippine Archipelago. The archipelago is a cluster or group of islands.
- Below Europe it continues with Africa, a continent marked embossed, with its island of Madagascar in the lower right.
- At the bottom right is the Australian continent, highlighted by the texture of blank dots; in its lower right corner are the North and South Islands that make up New Zealand.
- At the bottom of the globe, around the South Pole, is the frozen continent of Antarctica, rendered by dashdotted lines texture.
