Image description
The image shows a large semi-aquatic mammal, called a walrus, seen from profile, oriented towards the right side.
The walrus is characterized by a mound shape, but the head is short and round, two long ivory fangs, sharp and slightly arched down, under the mustache, and reaching a length of up to one meter.
The body of the walrus, rendered full in relief, is covered on the inside with a very thick layer of fat, which has the role of thermal protection.
The mammal is positioned with its abdomen on the ground, leaning on the two sturdy fins, located next to the body.
Next to the walrus, on the right, there is a man, as a landmark to determine its real proportions.
