Image description
The image shows the face of a person who expresses the emotion called fear. This emotional state is reflected on the outside, through different facial expressions. There are forty two individual muscles in the face, that are activated by the respective emotion, and impacts facial expressions on the facial elements: forehead, eyebrows, eyelids, nose, cheeks, lips, chin.
The face is oval, rendered embossed, with a broad forehead and a square jaw. The wide ears, on either side of the edge of the face, are marked as two vertically elongated ovals and filled with the texture of horizontal and parallel lines, like the nose. The nose, in the center of the face, is long and ends at the base, above the lips, with a curved tip with wide nostrils, on either side.
The eyebrows under the forehead are rendered as two sloping thickened and blank lines, slightly curved towards the outer corners, like two crescents. The eyes are shown as two blank horizontal ovals, in the center of which is the eyeball highlighted by a thickened smaller circle.
The mouth under the nose has a round shape with the upper and lower lips far apart from each other and rendered as two blank thickened lines and arched towards the inner side. Above the lower lip, the inside of the mouth can be noticed, with the upper edges of the front teeth in the lower jaw, marked as short, vertical and parallel lines.
The hair on the head is cut at the edge of the forehead and frames the face in sides, above the ears, left and right, being marked with the texture of zigzag or broken lines, horizontal and parallel.
In the case of fear, the forehead is slightly wrinkled, the eyebrows are raised to the forehead and lowered towards the ears with the corners arched, the eyes are wide open. The eyelids above each eye are raised to the eyebrows, as shown here, with a blank curved line, one to the left and one to the right. The mouth is wide open in a circle, and the lips are far apart from each other, leaving the inside of the mouth with the lower front teeth visible. Due to the wide opening of the mouth, the skin around the contour of the mouth is stretched vertically, that is pulled up and down, and thus creases appear, marked as two blank lines, short and curved, on the left and right corners of the mouth. These are the folds of the skin that form wrinkles over time.
