The image shows the face of a person who expresses the emotion called confidence. This emotional state is reflected on the outside, through different facial expressions. There are forty two individual muscles in the face, that are activated by the respective emotion, and impacts facial expressions on the facial elements: forehead, eyebrows, eyelids, nose, cheeks, lips, chin.
The face is oval, rendered blank, outlined, with a broad forehead and a square jaw. The wide ears, on either side of the edge of the face, are rendered as two vertically elongated ovals, marking the earlobe. The nose, in the center of the face, is long and ends at the base, above the lips, with a convex or curvy tip with wide nostrils, on either side.
The eyebrows, under the forehead and above the eyes, are rendered as two horizontal, embossed lines, with sharp ends towards the temples of the face.The eyes are shown as two blank horizontal ovals, in the center of which is the eyeball highlighted by a thickened circle.
The mouth under the nose is closed, with the lips sealed together, the lower one, fuller, being rendered blank, and the upper one, thinner, highlighted by a thick wavy line, with the left and right corners arched upwards.
The hair on the head is cut short, starting from the edge of the forehead, and on either side it frames the face above the ears, left and right, being shown embossed.
In case of confidence, the look is serious, accompanied by a firm smile. These traits denote seriousness and determination. The eyebrows are kept straight and at the same level, slightly lowered to the eyelids, indicating concentration.
The eyes are large and wide open. The chubby cheeks are highlighted above the level of the nose by a dashed curved line, on each side of the face, right under the eyes. The mouth is closed with the corners raised by the lateral muscles, which stretch the skin to the right and left of the mouth and pull it towards the upper cheekbones. Between the dimples at the edges of the mouth and the upper cheeks appear wrinkles rendered by two dashed and curved lines, to the left and right of the corners of the mouth.
